| OPERATIONS MANAGER TFC FULL EXPAT TAX FREE PACKAGE MULTINATIONAL EMPLOYER SOURCING GLOBALLY Abu Dhabi - Ref. CAR2011010 Our Client is a premier Oil & Gas engineering and marine services company, with operations throughout the Middle East. An Operations Manager - TFC to assist the head of the business on all TFC projects in terms of technical, commercial, construction management, yard management, project management, and manpower management aspects. DUTIES Monitor cash flow, project finance and budgets, subcontractor payments, related matters and ensure that the operational profit and loss for the business unit is healthy and keep the business unit head and the management informed of any deviations from the original planned budgets. Work closely with the Engineering Management team and ensure overall organisational goals are met. Oversee the overall operations of the Fabrication & Construction business unit in terms of Yard operations (Production, equipment, project execution and manpower) to ensure optimum utilisation of resources. Coordinate bid support as and when required and develop lump sum / EPC capabilities within organisation and coordinate all Project Execution Plans (PEPs). Functional management and coordination with all teams such as Project Management, Finance, Commercial and Contracts, HSE, QA/QC, Stores, HR and other associated departments in the Business Unit. To interface with clients and ensure client needs are met. Ensure HSE requirements are adhered to, maintain a constant focus on safety, and monitor adherence to quality standards. Facilitate the development of world class, efficient fabrication facilities and infrastructure. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Degree in engineering from a recognised institution. 20+ years experience in Operation Management related activities of Oil & Gas Onshore and Offshore Fabrication and Erection (Jackets & Platforms), Construction Yards and Projects. Experience in handling end to end project management / construction management / yard management and overall operations management. Proven Project Management experience in large fabrication and upstream and downstream EPC projects, bid stage through to execution and handover. Experience with managing project finance, budgets, cash flows, plant and equipment maintenance and management and overall profit & loss of multiple large EPC upstream projects. Experience in construction site, manpower and equipment deployment requirement and fabrication of piping, structure, vessels etc, NDT and quality control system and heavy lifts. Familiar with International Standards for design, engineering, construction and operations of multidiscipline projects eg. API, ASTM, BS, DIN, Shell DEPs etc. Conversant with project planning, project design, costing, MIS reporting and software such as Microsoft Project. Ability to manage a team of different technical skill sets assigned to various projects and sites in different geographies. UAE driving license, or the ability to transfer to UAE driving license immediately. REMUNERATION Basic Salary AED 35,000 to 40,000 per month. Accommodation allowance. Transportation allowance. Medical insurance for self, spouse, and two children up to the ages of 18 years. Education Allowance for two children up to the ages of 18 years. Annual flights to home country for self, spouse, and two children up to the ages of 18 years. | |
