Assistant Store Manager

We are urgently in need of Asst Store Manager that has a background in the beauty or spa industry as well as proven track record in sales. Candidate must also flexible and willing to take the challenge of a pre-opening team. Candidate must also possess a very good management or supervisory skills. She must also have a pleasing personality and confident in dealing with different class of clients.


Duties and Responsibilities

-In conjunction with the Area Manager, develop concept planning, menu of services, retailing, merchandising, marketing, membership sales and product development for the spa.

-To have complete knowledge of all spa and retail services, including price structure, and help train and amplify the team capability.

-Familiarise yourself with predetermined performance targets, P&L account, help develop staff to meet and exceed targets, maximizing revenue potential and minimizing costs.

-To help develop, supervise and support all staff, ensure policies and procedures are maintained and continually drive consistent, quality service standards.

-To meet with staff daily for briefings

-To provide support to the staff and ongoing training to ensure set standards are maintained.

-Interact with all clients and members, and members of staff. Be actively involved in all aspects of the spa and well informed and educated in all the activities offered.

-Meet with new spa members and perform an induction of the facilities and introductory consultation and treatment planning to ensure member retention and repeat business.

-Prepare and issue department rota’s on a monthly basis in line with the agreed budget.

-Responsible for the administration of goods, requisition inventories and cost effective wage structure of all departmental related materials and costs.

-Recruit and dismiss after approval from the Area Manager in accordance with company procedures.

-Perform consultations as required, and to be especially aware of VIP attendance.

-Conduct performance appraisals as required, and oversee attendance sheets, and sick leave and holiday arrangements.

-Review daily, weekly and monthly reports and authorize appropriate action.

-Maintain up to date staff records and record all relevant information.

-Maintain a healthy physical and smart appearance to assist the promotion and sales of spa services.

Skills Required

- Previous experience in Spa/ Beauty Industry is a must

-Excellent communication skills

-Flexiblle working attitude

-Excellent computer knowledge
