| Infrastructure - Engineer Infrastructure – Engineer Introduction As the region’s leading provider of architectural and engineering design services to the built environment, my client is committed to design excellence in the delivery of first class solutions which combine, innovation, imagination and best practice. Due to continuing growth, our Highways and Utilities Infrastructure team in Dubai is looking to recruit Infrastructure Engineers to join our team. The type of work generally falls into one of two categories, firstly, developing Highways & Design from master plan for major development proposals and secondly, hooking up the buildings our architects and engineers design, to the existing infrastructure. The Ideal candidate will be a near chartered assistant project manager or a chartered project manager with 5 years experience in Highways or Infrastructure design. The role will essentially involve assisting the team manage design projects and adding to the teams growth. Requirements Technical Competencies Essential • BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent • 5-8 years industry experience • Pipeline design skills • Developing operation and maintenance philosophies • Has good knowledge of the latest design standards and codes Desirable • Have an aptitude to multi-task and be self staring in new business environments • Has skills in project management Behavioural Competencies Essential • Good team player • Good leadership and communication skills Responsibilities • Produce detailed designs for all relevant infrastructure services • Preparation of Technical Specifications and Material Specifications for all relevant infrastructure services (roads and utilities) based on the latest standards by the statutory authorities. • Preparation of project design reports and liaison with other disciplines | |
