Sales Account Manager

• Possess initiatives and drive independently on opportunities and business issues. May seek advice on complex business issues and challenges. Expect to contribute and provide input on quota objectives and future direction within territory or area and accounts
• Works on accounts (current and new) which needs Technology Solutions and Services. Target to successfully conclude or close such opportunities.
• Often co-ordinates or works as a team lead with other Sales Professionals; may perform simple Project Management role
• Extensive time working with internal and external partnerships and resources to deliver solution sale
• Significant percentage of time is spent directly with the customer interfacing at all levels, including senior executives within customer organization. Focusing on a highly diverse set of functions and buyers, with particular attention on managers vs technical buyers in customer organizations. May develop business plan in conjunction with customer and account team members
• Establish relationships with customer/partner at all organizational levels and able to interface with senior levels in internal and external groups
• Responsible for achieving and exceeding assign sales quota for a defined period (quarterly half-yearly & annually)
• Adjust business plans based on account and industry segment opportunities
• Develop account plans and long-term sales funnel to increase the company market share (jointly with sales specialist).
• Qualify pursuit and capture opportunities speedily and effectively. Diligently use and leverage on systems and tools to record, track and report sales activities. Quality of input such as forecast accuracy, right pipeline size and shape are important performance criteria. To constantly "build" quality opportunity funnels and report/manage them using Sales System and others.
• Drive and close new business in new and existing accounts, targeting mainly at Key Account segments
• Provide appropriate support to colleagues in all business as well as exhibit high degree of team play

Your Profile
• Ability to communicate effectively – both written and spoken
• Can relate at all levels.
• Self driven with initiative and enthusiasm.
• A committed team player.
• Directly related work results; including demonstrated success in achieving progressively higher quota.
• Advanced degree of selling skills
• Typically 5-8 years of experience as referenced above with at least 3 years of direct selling experience.
• Outgoing personality & able to handle and manage difficult situation when required or call upon.


Qualifications
• Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree in Computer Engineering or Science and/or Master's (graduate) degree in Business Administration (MBA) or relevant experience
• Sound knowledge of IT sales
• A self-motivated, go-and-get approach and the will to win. Strong willed and persistent in approach.
• Strong presentation, sales, negotiation and influencing skills
• An organized, team approach
• Fluent English
