Sales Consultant

identifying new markets and business opportunities (arranging meetings with potential customers)
assessing the needs of the consumer and providing the latter with a suitable product/solution
listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriate drawing/layout to make a sale
maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone and emails
providing customers with quotations
delivering invoice and collecting money
acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales (negotiating on price, delivery and specifications with customer and managers)
gathering market and customer information (feeding future buying trends back to employers )
challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
survey delivered material after project completion
reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues
acting as primary contact with Sales Manager
