Purchase Manager

Job Purpose:
To manage Company wide purchases of Raw materials, Spares, Assets and Products to ensure smooth operations and efficient production activities.

Principal Accountabilities
Vendor Management, Negotiations, Inventory Management and Procurement,
Coordination with Logistics, plant, Quality Assurance

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
KNOWLEDGE
- Thorough understanding of International Purchasing norms.
Knowledge of Inventory and warehouse management;
- People management skills
- Good communication skills.

EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of experience in a mangerials Purchasing Function preferably in a FMCG
Food and Beverage manfufacturing Company.
- Preferably 2 years experience in ERP-Oracle Environment

SKILLS
- Computer Literate on all MS Office programs especially MS Excel.
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP Structure, Preferably should have worked on a large ERP
- Oracle / SAP /BAAN.
