| Communications Officer Our Client is a multi- national food logistics and facilities provider providing food logistics, catering, fm and retail services across The Middle East, Africa and Near Asia. They are currently seeking a Communications Officer to be based in their HR Department in Dubai. Reporting into the Director of Human Resources this is a real opportunity for a communications professional to make a mark in this rapidly expanding international company. Key areas of the role are the writing, compilation and development of corporate communication material such as the company newsletter, intranet content, internet content, employee info and company brochures, liaison with external graphic designer and printers, enforcing company branding throughout the organization and the implementation of tools and processes to assist internal communication flow. You will devise and communicate the company communication strategy, devise and communicate company communication guidelines, such as font size, letterhead style, email signatures etc and will advise Directors and Managers on internal communication issues and support the Business Units with their internal communications plans. Knowledge and Skills: The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Communications or in Public Relations or Marketing. Whilst you may have a marketing or PR background you must have had experience of working in a corporate communications environment with knowledge of communications strategy and practice. You should be creative and imaginative, a good eye for detail combined with exceptional administration and organisation skills. In addition you should be IT / PC fluent particularly in Microsoft Office packages. Some knowledge of web design would also be useful. You should have strong written and oral communication skills in English and have a strong attention to detail. Superb inter-personal skills and instant credibility are essential as you will be inter-facing with a number of people from different backgrounds, nationalities and religions. This is an outstanding challenge for an accomplished Communications and / or PR professional looking for something different. The basic salary is paid in AED and is tax free for an Ex-Patriate employee. In addition there is an annual bonus which is also paid in AED and tax free for an Ex-Patriate employee. The holiday entitlement is 30 days, you will receive medical insurance cover and will receive 1 paid return economy flight per year. Mobilization and De-Mobilization flights are paid for by our client.
