Recruitment Manager

To coordinate with the Departments and maintain excellent relationships with personnel recruitment sources to stay abreast of current and future hiring needs, in addition, to oversee the recruitment and selection process to ensure that the client attracts and recruits suitable applicants for the identified vacancies at the right time.

Ensure smooth functioning of all staffing activities in an effective manner, manage employment contracts, and ensure the availability of candidate’s resources as per requirements for new hires on local and national contracts.

Prepare short and long term manpower plans, develop competencies model and implement accordingly.

Prepare the recruitment plans and decide sources to meet workforce requirements;

Implement the staffing strategy as per the approved headcount budget;

Ensure Emiratization quotas are met and find the best sources for the recruitment same;

Perform searches for qualified candidates using all types of recruitment sources. Screen andrefer applicants to managers, interview candidates, conduct reference checks, organize participation in job fairs, as well as salary negotiations with candidates.

Offer advice on all aspects of the recruitment and selection process.

Supervise section staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.

Develop and oversee the implementation of the recruitment strategy to ensure that staffing needs are met.

Develop and oversee the implementation of all necessary systems and procedures to ensure that the recruitment and selection process operates effectively

Supervise the process for the placing of advertisements for all internal and external vacancies

Negotiate contracts with external advertising and recruitment consultants to secure the most favourable terms

Interview potential recruits and appoint staff in consultation with appropriate Line Managers

Oversee all administrative arrangements relating to the recruitment and selection process, including arranging test
Requirements

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Human Resources / equivalent. And preferred with postgraduate specialized qualifications.

Experience:

• 8 years in Staffing & Manpower Planning (recruitment), with at least 3 years at supervisory level. Preferred with some general HR experience.

• Worked with banking/investment houses.

Language:

• Excellent command of English (spoken & written), Arabic an advantage, but not a must.

Competencies:

• Effective interpersonal, communication, conflict management and problem solving skills.
• Good knowledge of UAE employment and labour law.
• Ability to analyse candidate data and prepare reports.
• Team supervision and ability to motivate groups.
• Ability to coach and provide the professional support to National Staff at HRD.
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external business concerned parties.
• Supervisory and administrative skills
• Good human relations skills
