| Foreman (Trade/General) The Lead Foreman reports to the Divisional Manager. While on site the Lead Foreman reports to the assigned Project Manager. A Lead Foreman is representative at a construction site. The Lead Foreman directs and coordinates the activities of a limited number of trade groups such as Carpenters, Electricians, Plumbers, Drywall Specialists, Painters, and Welders on site. Responsibilities include making sure that the work progresses according to schedule, that material and equipment are delivered to the site on time, and that the activities of the various workers do not interfere with one another. The Lead Foreman not only supervises all these activities but also participates in the hands on work process. He is also responsible for an assigned crew of Field Employees while on site. | |
