| Managing Director – Sugar Industry Managing Director required for my client who is one of West Africa's largest business conglomerates with well consolidated business lines, robust infrastructure and valuable human resources. The company controlling entity of a number of leading businesses in trading, industrial, automotive and services sectors of the regional economy. . KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • 8 years' experience in related field as General Manager/leader of company. successfully influencing senior players in the industry. Able to demonstrate a record of achievement in values, ethical and values-based leadership involving sustainable development. International experience would be an additional benefit. • Able to work under pressure, team-oriented, good listener, able to communicate effectively internally and with external stakeholders and media. Excellent 'people' person at all levels. • Track record in managing 'political' sensitivities/issues. Able to implement workable solutions and drive through change based on objective analysis of the business. • Able to deal with complex issues and report effectively to the Board. | |
