| Transportation Engineer/Civil Engineer Qualifications required: Education: Bachelor Degree in Transportation Engineering or / Civil Engineering with specialised course of study in transportation engineering. Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in transportation or public infrastructure projects Skills set: · Computer Literate. · Ability to prepare financial studies and recommendations for transport studies.. · Reporting Skills. · Time Management Skills. · Supervising Skills · Customer relation · English Language. · Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills. · Public Speaking and Presentation Skills. · Communication Skills. Responsibilities: · Review projects designs prepared by the consultant to ensure that that they are according to the specifications. · Follow up the works of the contractor in site to ensure that he is following the specifications of the contract and also visit the manufactures in order to check the steps of completion. · Follow up the contractor during the construction ensure that the contractor deserves the payments or not. In addition to, follow the achievement of manufactures in manufacturing contracts. · Participation researches and studies related to development of the specifications of marine projects. · Contact with other authorities (Etisalat, Municipality…etc.) to make sure that the contractor gets NOCs on time. · Contact with interior and exterior authorities to collect all information about the marine transport specifications and overall transportations in general. · Coordinate with investors and strategic partners and negotiation with them. · Participating in complementary programs to collect all details of marine public transport and sea and wind status. · Coordinate with draughtsman to prepare related drawings. · Site visit to the proposed locations of stations and comment on the obstructions and constructions liability. · Check health and safety requirements are followed in sites before start working. · Write weekly and monthly report recording a technical progress of the contractor and suggest solutions for any problem. | |
