| Senior Naval Architect/ Engineer Qualifications required: Education: Masters degree in Naval Architecture or Naval Architectural Engineering. Experience: Minimum 8 years Skills set: · Computer MS Office Programs. · Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles. · Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills. · Presentation Skills. · Communication Skills. · Time Management. · Project Management. · English Language. Responsibility: · Provide information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, estimated costs, and construction time schedule. · Determine functional and spatial requirements of structure considering RTA standards.. · Issues instruction to the consultants engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents. · Plan layouts of naval projects and coordinate with concerned parties. · Prepare contract documents for tender as per RTA policy. · Prepare scale drawings. · Integrate engineering elements into unified designs. · Conduct periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans and to report discrepancies to management. · Administer construction contracts. · Evaluate bids to decide awarding construction contracts. · Prepare operating and maintenance manuals, studies, and reports and maintain old revisions for reference. | |
