| Construction Engineer (Civil) Education: • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering. Experience: • Minimum 5 years experience Skills set: · Computer MS Office Programs. · Computer Literate. · Ability to prepare financial studies and recommendations. · Reporting Skills. · Time Management Skills. · Supervising Skills. · Customer relation. · English Language. · Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills. · Public Speaking and Presentation Skills. · Communication Skills. Responsibility: · Participate in the development of plans and programmers of action, performance indicators for the section. In addition to participate in the process of preparation the annual budget of the department for the proposed marine projects. · review the plans and engineering designs and drawings for marine projects submitted by the consultants also review technical reports prepared by other engineers and make recommendations and suggestions for adjustments required to the section manager. · Study specialist consultant's rehabilitation requests to identify their abilities and expertise and make recommendations to section manager to include and accredited consultants to deal with them in future. · Oversee the preparation of tender documents of marine projects in coordination with Contracts and Procurement Department within RTA. Also to analyse tenders and prepare technical reports on the results of the analysis and participate in the preparation of bids and contracts conditions and contained. · Identify number and specialist required in the consultant team from engineers and observers and ensure their qualifications and practical experience before work on the project. · Oversee the maintenance of existing projects installations and installations Marine projects which a mandate to him from the construction side and electromechanical through field visits to these ongoing projects to inspect the progress of work and to ensure compliance to specifications, technical standards and Deadlines. · Ensure quality work in the project and that it conformed to the designs, plans and drawings approved, as well as ensure conformity of materials used to specifications through the examination of samples in the laboratory as necessary. · Ongoing coordination with contractors, consultants, other organizational units & official departments such as Dubai Police and DEWA concerned. · Review the reports of engineers or inspectors working in the special projects and verify irregularities, abuses and take immediate actions to address them through direct contact with consultants and contractors involved. · Immediate supervisor of any irregularities or serious exceeded and communicate directly to the project in charge and submit proposals for appropriate action according to the terms and conditions of the contract in the constituency and ensure their implementation after the accreditation. · evaluate the change required in the projects which he/she in charge about which submitted by consultants and contractors in coordination with the sections and departments and ensure implementation after the approval · Responses to queries for projects mandated, or to discuss topics which have direct relationship with the official bodies or with consultants and contractors and referred to the signing of the direct supervisor. · Review and verify the financial claims made by the consultants and entrepreneurs about the finish work in coordination with the sections and departments concerned. · supervision and provide advice, direction and guidance in technical aspects to the engineers and technicians in the Division which relate to engineering work in order to enable them overcome the difficulties they face at work. · Contributes to the study of maintenance work on Marine vessels and facilities operations and prepare tender documents and analysis of submissions to the maintenance of Marine vessels and facilities awarded contracts. · arrange to formation the committees receiving of final or completed projects and ensure its implementation before delivery and the issuance of certificates of achievement to contractors implementing · follow-up prosecution of the programmers scheduled maintenance projects mandated to repair defects that may arise during the warranty period specified in the construction contract before the final clearance with the contractors concerned, according to reports submitted by consultants maintenance · Develop reports for evaluating the performance of consultants and contractors in charged with implementing marine projects. · preparing weekly, monthly and annual reports on the progress of work in projects include a description of the work performed compared to the work programmers and schedules adopted and the difficulties and obstacles, proposals and recommendations to overcome obstacles and to improve and develop actions and brought to the direct supervisor on time. | |
