| Technical manager - South Region Our client, a leading global transport and engineering services company, is currently looking for talented Technical Engineers for a high profile Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) programme in Saudi Arabia. Successful applicants will provide project and management guidance to Local Project Delivery Teams and liaise with the management teams of the Investor Consortiums. You will be responsible for delivery of specific urban ITS systems and oversee the engineering and technical deliverables of contractors. You will be a qualified Project Manager with several years experience overseeing Technical design, delivery and quality of complex ITS projects and programmes. You will have an excellent knowledge of Systems Engineering, General IT (Analysis and Design), Verification and Validation and an excellent knowledge of the implementation of applicable IEEE/IEE/EIA standards. Fluent English and Arabic language skills are essential. We seek, therefore, the type of individual who can keep their finger on the pulse, have the ability to think ‘outside of the box’ and will feel comfortable solving problems that may be outside their area of expertise. You will have, as a minimum, a Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline such as Electrical/Mechanical/Telecommunications Engineering.
