| CEO CEO International Joint Venture – Arabic Speaker Our client is a leading provider of services to the public and private sector. Having recently secured a high value, long term contract in Abu Dhabi, they wish to appoint a high calibre CEO to run this large operation and lead the expansion of their business in the GCC States. An excellent package, and a high degree of autonomy are on offer for the right person. The Role • You will lead the JV company, providing strategic direction and delivering the returns shareholders have forecast in their business plan. • Having complete P&L responsibility, you will manage the implementation and delivery of the services under the existing contract, ensuring that your team meets (and preferably exceeds) all its targets. • Applying your knowledge of the region, you will identify further opportunities for the business and will lead on the negotiation and acquisition of new contracts across the GCC States. • As the senior representative of the business, you will manage client relationships with Government agencies and others at the highest level. The Person • The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable record of leadership and success in a similar business environment within the GCC States. A graduate, preferably with a postgraduate business or professional qualification, experience of delivering services and working closely with national agencies in the region is essential. • Driven and determined to succeed, you will have high energy levels and will never be satisfied with coming second. Your financial acumen and people management skills must be of the highest standard. • Presentable and with finely tuned communication skills, you will be capable of winning the trust and confidence of both the JV partners and its clients. Culturally astute, you will understand how to do business in the region. • Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential and candidates without these language skills will not be considered for this position. • In return the right candidate will be offered an attractive package of compensation and benefits and the opportunity to make their mark with a leading company in this sector.
