Assistant Project Manager Mechanical engineer As a Mechanical Engineer you will take a leading role in the management and development of new products, guiding the team from initial research through to final production.Specific responsibilities will include; Providing assistance in producing and managing project plans, value analysis and cost estimates. Use of FMEA processes to produce robust designs, undertake risk analysis on potential designs. Undertake/supervise prototype and production builds. Produce design documentation and writing of technical reports. Provide technical support and problem solving for existing production. Who we're looking for Applicants must hold either a degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with experience relative to the position. • In addition, experience of all aspects of design, CAD (using a Windows based system - SolidWorks preferred) is essential, as is the design of plastic (including injection parts) and sheet metal components.
