HR MANAGER

Reporting to: Managing Director


With the business growing exponentially, developing and managing key personnel is essential to successfully underpin business expansion and business continuity. An opportunity has arisen for a high caliber HR Manager to lead the definition, development and implementation of Action Impact’s
HR strategy and provide total personnel service.


Key tasks:

 As a key member of the senior management team, provide strategic HR expertise to ensure that the company remains a leader in efficiency and effectiveness across all its elements.

 Support senior managers on a wide range of people issues, advise them of pending employment legislation, and help them internalize "people development" as one of their key managerial responsibilities.

 Manage the HR Department and recommend/innovate best practice HR solutions


Main Responsibilities:

 HR Planning & Strategy:
- Primary point of contact for senior managers regarding HR issues.
- Design and implement various OD processes for performance management, competency building & assessment, productivity improvement and restructuring
- Roll out HR initiatives and projects within the office, including HR/recruitment software and
- performance management systems.
- Ensure all employee services/benefits, documentation (ie. visas) and HR administration support is provided in accordance with UAE Labor Law.

 Custodian of HR policies:
- Prepare an HR policy manual based on the business goals, mission & vision of the company and the initiatives already taken
- Ensure consistent and fair implementation of policies throughout the company
- Perform ongoing review, development and implementation of new policies

 Recruitment and Induction:
- Evolve and implement a strategy for recruitment and selection; undertake ongoing review and assessment of the recruitment processes and implement improvements where required.
- Develop and manage a graduate internship / development program to complement the recruitment process
- Develop precise job descriptions
- Manage staff induction process to quickly integrate new talent into the business
- Manage staff exit process; conduct exit interviews.

 Compensation and Benefits:
- Handle compensation, benefits and incentive structures
- Lead annual salary review process: Ensure salaries are structured and implemented in accordance with the company’s guidelines.

 Learning and Development:
- Devise and implement an integrated learning, development and team building strategy that underpins the business plan.

 Succession Planning:
- Establish a culture of movement across the company supported by a tradition of mentoring/coaching within teams.


Candidate Profile:

 Young, motivated and dynamic with a minimum of 5-8+ years experience within an HR management role.
 Must have full working knowledge of Human Resource administration and relevant legislation in the UAE
 An HR generalist with hands on experience on a broad range of verticals within HR such as Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Job Evaluation, Competency Based Performance, Change Management Processes, and Organizational Development
 Forward thinking
