| Store Supervisor The Candidate will have a full understanding of logistics and warehouse processes, products nomenclature, be able to communicate and engage with a wide range of personalities from the Shop Floor, the client, suppliers, vendors, and eventually his own team of 1 logistics assistant (via Supply Chain Manager). The Candidate will ideally have exposure to forecast planning within a shipyard and be able to manage the risk associated with stock management. The candidate will be highly numerate, commercially aware and IT literate (including MS Office). The candidate will be able to demonstrate success in a similar function including the physical stock accuracy, traceability etc. The candidate will be familiar with Inventory, be processes driven and able to direct and manage change. Experience of ERP systems an advantage but not essential. The candidate will be able to demonstrate problem solving skills and be able to create lead times for stock holding based on robust and effective scheduling and demand planning. Factory systems and Machinery maintenance and warehouse keeping are part of the candidate duties. Other tasks as required by supply chain manager or production manager. | |
