Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following:

Budget preparation:
• Control and manage the budget preparation process
• Budget review and analysis prior to submission to the CFO/senior management
• Maintain approved budgets in general ledger system
• Monitor and review departmental budget requests, budget transfers and amendments, budget analysis, and other information to assess impact on the current budget

Cost accounting:
• Develop cost accounting objectives in connection with the Controller, CFO and senior management
• Develop a cost accounting system using payroll, payables and general ledger to properly allocate costs
• Develop and maintain cost standards and develop methods/reports for tracking standards and variances
• Activity/service costing and related reporting

Financial reporting:
• Prepare monthly analysis of budget/actual variances with related explanations
• Develop or prepare cost reports as needed

General accounting:
• Assist in month-end closing
• Handle monthly billing activities

Ad hoc projects with CFO/Controller.







Job Requirements
 Skills & Qualifications
Following are the basic Knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
• Thorough knowledge of cost accounting
• Excellent analytical ability
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Ability to respond effectively to inquiries.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Be competent by proper demonstration of the following: analyzing diversified information, problem solving, customer service, oral and written communication, organizational support, strategic thinking, judgement, planning and organizing, adaptability, attendance, dependability and initiative.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good computer skills
 Education
• Undergraduate degree in business administration with a concentration in finance or
accounting required
• CPA/CMA preferred.
 Experience
• 4-6 years experience in accounting and finance
• Cost accounting and budgeting experience
