| Project Account Engineer Tasks, responsibilities and qualifications •Reports to the Project Controls Manager •Maintains the chart of accounts •Documents contract commercial requirements •Liaises with the Project Manager on Contract commercial issues •Prepares and reviews invoices to the client •Monitors accounts receivable and follows up on late payments •Monitors status of financial instruments •Coordinates insurance coverage as required in the contract •Develops project invoicing procedure •Ensures that accounting structure is properly linked to the WBS •Monitors and reports on accruals •Prepares and maintains project cash flow forecasts •Monitors taxation positions and relevant issues •Monitors and reports on Overhead costs •Monitors and reports on performance against project budget •Must have at least 5 years experience in project accounting •Must have an Accounting degree from a recognized university | |
