| Oracle Distribution Functional Consultant The employer is one of Middle East's leading Business Houses. They have been in business since 30 years with more than 25 group companies involved in Trading, Hospitality, Retail, FMCG and Real Estate.They follow extremely good HR practices, have very low attrition and the future growth prospects are excellent. This position is located in Dubai and is for the trading division of this group. The Job Description : • Serve as the Oracle distribution ( Order Management, Warehouse Management, Bills of Material, Advanced Pricing, Inventory), module subject matter expert on ERP project to convert the company's legacy system to Oracle Version (11.5.10.2) •Perform business analysis to solidify business requirements and lead the solution design •Prepare Design Documents and other documentation •Review and mentor work of team members. •Plan and conduct Training ( Domain, Cross Domain) for team members •Follow standard project practices to control risks, issues, and contain cost, schedule and scope creep •Become the in-house expert on the company's distribution and procurement system •Partner with business area experts to identify ways technology can support the future direction of the business •Employ excellent interpersonal skills to gain consensus on technically sound decisions in cross-functional teams •Stay informed on Oracle upgrades and initiate projects to upgrade the system and make best use of new features •Help establish standard practices to ensure continued improvement within Information Systems. The following skills are required : Technical - •B.E / B.Tech + MBA / PGDBM (Preferred) •Ability to manage ERP functions of a very large scale with multi division, multi location set up. •Experience in Oracle 11i ERP implementations •Integration with 3rd party applications •Ability to imbibe latest technology in given functional domain and manage the change it brings •Operating Systems Windows 98/ XP/2000/NT Functional - •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Experience in the Distribution field . •Ability to draft technical and functional business documents and present them when required. •Exceptional leadership and team management experience | |
