| Head of Security Services The job is within a major and reputable Security Services Company based in Qatar and offering corporate institutions and government agencies full Security Services: Guarding, Security Audit, Security Master Plan, Threat Risk Analysis, and Security System Integration. Reporting to the Assistant General Manager for Security Affairs. Based in Doha - Qatar Main Role: Manage the Security Services Department’s operations and administrative functions and is responsible for ensuring overall performance to meet business goals. Responsibilities: 1) Reporting Responsibility – to the Assistant General Manager (AGM): a) Report on monthly basis to the AGM, the overall performance of the security services department. b) Review current operational directives and methodologies to ensure their relevancy and alignment with the company’s vision. c) Replace the AGM Security Affairs during his absence and assume his duties. 2) Operations & Resources Management Responsibilities: a) Achieve his department’s P&L targets by controlling all cost components. b) Manage efficiently and effectively all activities of his department and ensure his staff compliance with policies and procedures. c) Direct and control the day-to-day operations, and carry out periodic reviews to ensure proper implementation of directives. d) Conduct security surveys and assume supervisory controls. e) Document operational, training and consultancy activities. f) Provide input for tender submission. g) Coordinate and liaise with other business areas on any new business initiative or assignment within his area of responsibility. h) Manage and timely resolve major crises and emergencies by acting as the incident commander and making quick and prompt decisions. i) Solve customers’ complaints especially when having impact on the business. j) Handle security studies, plans, audits, and threat risk assessments as requested by clients. k) Responsible for the welfare, motivation, good conduct and discipline of his staff. l) Constantly monitor the area of operations, training, logistics, and manpower availability pertaining to security services. m) Conduct site survey and work out manpower deployment and resource allocation. Requirements: • Bachelor Degree with accreditation from qualified security authority • Good level of English and Arabic, speaking and writing skills. • Sound judgment and awareness of incidents and investigation management, industrial security management, risk management, first aid and fire protection. • At least 12 years of security related experience, military or police background. • Knowledge of man-management, security systems, security studies/audits, budget control, training and customer service is an advantage.
