| Architect This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a large reputable and market leading organisation. My client is currently recruiting for an Architect to work on a prestigious Hotel project. The ideal candidate will: A degree qualified Architect with a minimum of 5 years experience in Commercial and Residential projects. The candidate should be competent in technical detailing and design, co-ordination of drawings and proficient in the use of AutoCAD. Middle East / UAE experience would be an advantage, but is not essential for this position. Technical Competencies Essential To be familiar with AutoCAD software used by the office (AutoCAD 2005) Must have a minimum of 5 years in AutoCAD experience Should know MS Office Word and Excel Good grasp of Architectural and Engineering principles Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both written and verbal Must be able to learn and retain new skills quickly from a variety of sources and show potential to work with limited supervision Should have ability for self checking & correction of work Experience in fit out (ID) would be a preference, however, experience in a variety of buildings such as hotels, and mixed-use buildings will be considered.
