| Greenhouse Manager The greenhouse manager should have at least 3 years’ experience with running greenhouse projects. The aim of the vegetables greenhouse project will be to define the best cost effective solution for growing top quality vegetables. The monitoring of the greenhouse including climate control, irrigation, fertigation are fully computerized. The irrigation works upon measuring the radiation which is the main facture influence the water demand by the plants. As the accumulated radiation will reach to the set point the irrigation will start. Along the irrigation the computer is monitoring the Ph and salinity (EC) of the water and able to adjust it to the setting level. Qualifications: 1. Vast experience with growing vegetables in extreme desert conditions- MUST. Desert experience is extremely important! 2. Proficiency with the most advanced Hi Tech Control systems as well as growing in UAE- MUST. We need to have someone that already have experienced with hi tech control system and computer oriented. 3. Familiarity with climates and irrigation control software. 4. Pest control, application of pesticides, Herbicides and general plant protection- MUST. Management skills • Integrity • Nice personality, hardworking and self-disciplined and have excellent relationships with workers, business partners and colleagues. • Management experience Knowledge and experience with: • Vast experience with growing vegetables in extreme desert conditions • Proficiency with the most advanced Hi Tech Control systems as well as growing in UAE • Computer friendly, familiarity with climates and irrigation control software • Advanced drip irrigation and fustigation systems • pest control, application of pesticides, Herbicides and general plant protection • Knowledge with fertilizers and applying different formulas during the season • Knowledge of plant production and nursery operation • Setting a growing program – including choosing varieties Previous experience growing: • Bell Peppers • Tomatoes Cherry tomatoes • Cucumbers • Eggplants • Melons * Flowers | |
