| Subsea Engineers Position Overview: 5 Years Contract Chevron Asia Pacific Exploration and Production Company, a division of Chevron U.S.A. Inc. require experienced persons for the position of Subsea Completions Engineers located in Perth, Australia. This position will work with the Drilling and Completion (D&C) Gorgon Team Leader, Gorgon & Wheatstone Asset Teams as the projects enter into FEED. This position will combine both onshore planning and offshore supervision of running subsea trees, equipment and components. Position Details: Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: • Plan and execute mid-water development wells for the Gorgon/Io/Jansz and Wheatstone/Iago fields. • Develop all cost estimations. • Lead risk assessments. • Provide assistance and management for subsea interface contract requirements. • Develop procedures. • Lead project execution and complete post project reviews. • Provide mentoring to younger engineers on the D&C team. • Design and coordinate subsea interface engineering programs for deepwater subsea completions. Required (Basic) Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree is required. • A minimum of 10 or more years experience in over-water, preferably deepwater, well engineering and operations. • Experience working on or with floating drilling operations. • Deepwater experience and/or subsea completion experience is mandatory. • Experience in leading quality risk assessments and ability to develop detailed cost estimations. • Demonstrated competency in writing detailed procedures. Preferred Qualifications: • High flow rate experience is a plus. • Robust contractor management skills are a plus. | |
